There’s no ONE best way to parent, because it all depends on the one-of-a-kind dynamic between you and your child. And there’s no ONE-size-fits-all solution to your parenting challenges, because every child has different needs when it comes to communication, play, food, sleep, learning, and discipline.
We all have individual preferences, sensitivities, and gifts for a reason. And yet, we’re faced with constant pressure to conform to a single norm or “best practice”.
There are few areas in life where these pressures are more intense than in parenting. From the moment you conceive, you are bombarded with (often contradicting) advice about how to feed, sleep, educate and speak to your kid(s). And we hang on every word because, frankly, parenthood is one big terrifying unknown–and the thought that someone knows exactly what is going to work for your child is extremely comforting.
And even if something has worked for “thousands of other clients”, there’s no guarantee it will work for you.
This is where human design comes in.
Human design is grounded in the belief that we are all designed to be differentiated. It gives you a personalized blueprint for how you and your child(ren) are designed to move through the world – and interact with each other – in the most natural (and enjoyable!) way.

This collection of video lessons will cover some of the essential foundations of human design and my parenting by design philosophy. In addition to a program overview, these videos will explain the anatomy of a human design chart, my interpretation of the 9 energy centers and what they govern, the 6 lines and the archetypes they represent, and an introduction to the Variable (aka the arrows at the top of a human design chart). You will receive access to these videos 1 week before the program starts.

This week will be focused on applying your learnings through observation and experimentation. You will be given worksheets and prompts to support the integration process.
week 3
Discover what your child(ren)’s energy type can tell you about their daily sleep and activity needs, preferred communication style, red flag behaviors and core wounds. Experiment with strategies to help strengthen their inner compass and transform their greatest sensitivities into superpowers. Explore your child’s emotional patterning and learn about different practices to navigate big emotions (at all ages!). Chart aspects that we’ll be exploring during these two weeks include energy type, authority, undefined centers, and solar plexus definition.
WEEK 4 & 5

Learn about the difference between “left brain” and “right brain” dominance through the lens of human design, and explore how this —and several other chart elements — can inform the most aligned way for your child to communicate, learn, and play. Discover the most nourishing way for your child to eat and experiment with simple strategies to support them. Chart aspects that we’ll be exploring during these two weeks include profile, circuitry, environment, strongest sense, and digestion.
week 6 & 7
This week will be focused on applying your learnings through observation and experimentation. You will be given worksheets and prompts to support the integration process.

Discover the energetic dynamics of your family system, including the ways you naturally complement and compromise one another based on your energy types and definition. Learn strategies for navigating the inevitable tensions that can arise between you and your child(ren), you and your partner, and siblings. Topics that we’ll be exploring during these two weeks include bonding strategies, energy dynamics, co-dependence, and common triggers based on center definition.

I’m a 5/1 Emotional Generator with the Cross of Revolution. I have a 3-year old Emotional MG son (Leo) and 5-month old Splenic Projector daughter (Chloe). I created this program to give other parents the same sense of relief, freedom, and joy I discovered when I started incorporating human design into my parenting.
When my son was born, I remember desperately following a feeding schedule I had purchased from an expert online. According to this schedule, he was supposed to eat at regular intervals throughout the day: 7am, 10am, 1pm, etc. But, no matter how hard I tried, he would refuse to eat before 10am (which were considered “prime feeding hours”). In my sleep-deprived haze, I believed it was a reflection of my parenting abilities and spent weeks worrying that there was something “wrong” with me or my child.
Thanks to human design, I discovered that my son has “indirect light digestion.” This means that he is designed to consume most of his calories later in the day. I may have intuitively recognized this, but as a new mom, I lacked the confidence to trust myself (and my son!). Learning he has indirect light digestion was the greatest relief AND a permission slip to stop stressing about “the schedule”. I allowed him to lead and he naturally compensated by eating more in the afternoon and evening. But more importantly, I got to enjoy our time together, instead of force-feeding him to soothe my anxiety.
Ever since that experience, I have been committed to parenting my kids by design and I want to make it as easy as possible for you to do so as well.

This program is for all knowledge levels. Whether you’re brand new to human design or have been studying this system for years, we meet you where you’re at. The material will touch on a variety of foundational and advanced chart elements, including energy type, authority, profile, environment, digestion, and so much more. All participants are encouraged to complete the Foundations module as pre-work before the live sessions to ensure a basic level of familiarity with the topics that will be covered. All questions are encouraged and will be answered during Office Hours or in our member portal.
No. The information in this program can be used to support parents and children at any stage of development, even if the expression of a certain chart element might vary based on age. We will use examples and discuss strategies that span the age range from newborns to teens.
This is not a certification or 101 training. While you will undoubtedly deepen your knowledge of this powerful system, Parenting by Design is designed to help parents and caregivers integrate and apply insights from their family’s human design in order to foster greater connection and better parenting outcomes. Every week, you can expect real-world examples, reflection prompts, opportunities to share your learnings and practical strategies to experiment with at home.
